Our Story
“Dr. Mainz Medical Beauty Professional Skin Care Products” was launched in 1999 by Dr.Huang Meiyue, the “godmother of medical beauty”, after obtaining a doctorate in dermatology from Mainz Gutenberg University in West Germany. In the early days, it was only available in Mainz Medical Beauty. The clinics under the business group used and sold skin care treatments. It was not until Dr. Huang Meiyue, MD, saw that her father suffered from diabetic pressure ulcers in his later years but was helpless, and began to devote himself wholeheartedly to the field of stem cell regenerative medicine, dedicated to researching stem cells to repair damaged skin. It opened up the opportunity to combine regenerative medicine, biotechnology and skin care products, and founded Maria von Stem Cells (Maria von) in 2008.
The name concept of Maria von stem cells originated from the German fairy tale Snow White (experts believe that Maria Sophia von Erthal is the prototype of the fairy tale). Snow White is one of the most famous princesses in the world, and her beauty and purity have inspired women for centuries. Dr. Huang hopes to invest in regenerative medicine and use stem cell treatment to revive like Snow White, so she named her Maria Von.
